The richness of Frangelico Hazelnut Liqueur is based on its origin. The liqueur is predominantly made from a blend of top of the line hazelnuts from Italy. Coffee, cocoa, and the distillate and extracts of vanilla are also included.
Clear pale gold in colour, the liqueur enticing and intense hazelnut aromas. On the palate, the spirit is rich and pronounced with delicate hazelnut flavours coupled with hints of dark chocolate, and vanilla. The finish is long with a fragrant back-notes.
The shape of the bottle resembles a friar. This is to pay homage to the legend that the liqueur was first brewed by monks?living in the Piedmont region of Italy.
