The Jacobs Creek Double Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon is crafted to perfection by exclusively using superior quality grapes. The unique Double Barrel technique follows. The wine is initially matured in traditional French and American Oak wine barrels for up to 18 months. This is then transferred to be finished in Jameson barrels for 8 to 12 weeks adding layers of complexity.
The Jacobs Creek Double Barrel Cabernet Sauvignon has vibrant aromas of dark olive and mint with hints of caramel notes. On the palate, the initial hints of tannins give way to flavours of ripe cassis, olive tapenade and complex briary hints.
Best paired with roasted rack of lamb with chargrilled eggplant.
