The Jameson Caskmates Stout Edition is a truly wonderful creation – Triple distilled Irish whisky patiently finished in Irish Craft Beer seasoned barrels.
The whisky has aromas of fresh cut hay coupled with a fruity character – pears, and green apple with a dash of lime zest. Subtle but discernable aromas of green tea, hazlenut, and milk chocolate follow. On the palate, the whisky is typical of any Irish whisky with a sweet coating. This is quickly complemented by subtle flavours of cocoa beans, and hops from the stout cask finish. Long and sweet finish with milk chocolate, and butterscotch.
