The wine shows a ruby red colour with subtle garnet reflections. The nose offers intense aromas of cherry, raspberry, violet, dried herbs, vanilla and sweet spice. The palate is velvety and rich, with fine tannins and ripe red fruit notes. Hints of cinnamon, oak and gentle acidity add balance and depth. The finish is long and elegant, with subtle notes of chocolate, tobacco and dried fruit. Piccini Collezione Oro Chianti Riserva DOCG pairs well with steak, barbeque and aged cheeses. Serve at around 18°C for the best flavour.
