Pernod Anise is the oldest anise liqueur in France. This liqueur is made from distilling star anise, fennel and 14 other botanicals including mint and coriander. The original drink was made in 1805 as Absinthe at the Pernod Fils factory. The Pernod Anise we know today was created in 1938.
