The Penfolds Koonunga Chardonnay is a medium bodied wine with a very lively and crisp palate. The oak aging provides a layer of complexity to this Chardonnay. Penfolds Koonunga Hill wines are known to be balanced, flavourful and of excellent quality.
Pale straw in colour, with streaks of green lime. This aromatic Chardonnay has a bounty of aromas of nectarine fruits and of subtle oak. This is well supported by scents of white blossoms and hints of flint and grapefruit. On the palate, the wine is fresh and vibrant with fresh peach and tropical fruit flavours. These flavours are conveyed with lively acidity and a creamy texture. This is signed off with a subtle hints of oak.
